Mark Taylor has been creating artworks for over twenty years, taking inspiration from the North East coastline and industrial heritage. As an artist, sailor and lifeboatman, Taylor has a lifelong love of the sea which translates into pieces that capture the transient qualities of the light on water.
He finds a tremendous resonance between the fishing and trading heritage of the rivers Tyne and Thames, and this synergy inspires his latest artistic exploration of London's Docklands.
